Red Mites

These tiny parasites hide in cracks by day and feed on your hens at night, causing stress, irritation, anemia, and a drop in egg production. Left untreated, infestations can quickly get out of control, especially in warm and humid weather.

Signs to watch for:

• Pale combs

• Restless hens

• Reduced laying

• Tiny red/grey specks near perches
